MINISTERING TO THE WHOLE MAN”GROWTH & ACTIVITY
Walls - Jerry Harris conducts worship service Sunday at 12 noon.Goree– Sunday, Freddie and Ray have 7:30 a.m. service on camp. Thursday (5-6p.m.) Freddie’s Bible class in chapel; Monday segregation visits.
Wynne – Ray worship service, worship service for Spanish speaking inmates. (2pm.) On Monday (6:30-8:30p.m.) Bill Byrd mentors while Freddie teaches.
Ferguson - Freddie’s Tuesday. (6pm)
Ellis - John Spencer worships with inmates at 8a.m.
Estelle - (SAF-P) Ray conducts service for this group.Not to mention mentoring on other uints and segregation visits, personal visits and follow-up.

I thank God for you…
I want to express a heart full of thanks to all who responded to the “retirement fund” for Freddie. This was done behind my back and under my nose.
When I stepped in that room at Westhill in Corsicana I was so surprised that my mouth flew open and I got a headache. I was blessed, surprised, and even impressed with the stealth. It was extra nice.
Larry & Jill Golden of Plainview were the force behind this. They got names from my wife and those friends they gave other names. People traveled from south Texas. West Texas, and far east Texas.
My son who just got back from Belgium surprised me by being there along with the daughter from north Texas.
I was floored to see the people and posters were on the wall for the “Freddie Fan Club” celebrating “25 Years” and “2,000 baptisms.”
Nice people said nice things about me with Larry being the MC. My wife went first, our children followed and others after that.
A fund has been set up available upon retirement. Yes, I did fuss and ask many why they did not tell me and they responded that they worked hard to keep it from me.
BIG JACK
First, the preacher called asking me to check on this inmate and ended up asking me to come to his congregation. Busy but I said, “Yes.”
The preacher had an agenda. He told me of this ex inmate I did not know and that the man was not doing good.
The preacher was more concerned about the man’s daughter who had four children, his mother and his non-christian father.After the sermon I spent time with the daughter and met her children; encouraged the mother; and the father got the gospel preached to him. “Big Jack” was also there. I found out that he had been in prison but practiced Islam in prison and is now a member of the church.
“Big Jack” was at the end of his rope and was about to give up but the message and someone knowing where he came from helped him tremendously. He called me a few minutes ago.
WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF FUNDS FOR SUPPORT.
HAS CONNECTED WELL WITH THE SPANISHSPEAKING INMATES AND IS DOING A GOOD WORK.
ALL OF YOU KNOW OF THE EVER INCREASING NUMBER OFINMATES OF SPANISH ORIGIN AND THE NECESSITY OF REACHING THEM WITH THE GOSPEL.
WE PRAYED FOR A LONG TIME FOR SOMEONE TO COME AND HERE PAUL IS. IF THERE A WAY FOR YOU TO HELP MAKE YOUR SPECIAL CONTRIBUTION TO “FOR SPANISH MINISTRY” AND WE WILL USE IT ACCORDINGLY.
